- 2 quarts (2 batches) Balsamic-Strawberry Ice Cream
For the topping:
- 1 pint strawberries (2 cups), preferably organic
- 2 to 3 Tbs. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. pure vanilla extract or seeds from 1/2 vanilla bean
- 1 tsp. balsamic vinegar (optional)
- Sweetened whipped cream
