- 1 tablespoon potato starch
- ½ cup fermented kimchi, chopped into small pieces
- ¼ cup kimchi brine or water
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- 1 green onion, chopped
- 2½ cups white fluffy rice (made with 1 cup rice)
- 2 to 3 tablespoons gochujang (Korean hot pepper paste)
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (home toasted sesame seeds)
For wasabi soy dipping sauce, optional
- 1 tablespoon wasabi powder
- 2 teaspoons water
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
