Snail slime (or its cosmetic name, snail filtrate) is packed with nutrients such as hyaluronic acid, glycoprotein, proteoglycans, and antimicrobial and copper peptides, all of which are commonly used in beauty products and proven to be beneficial for the skin.

My thoughts/experiences⬇️
This sheet mask is scented with a strong alcohol smell which is not to my liking. However, the mask is soaked with thick watery transparent essence which drips a little and very moisturizing. It stopped dripping when I put it on my face. It did not sting or irritate after leaving it for about 15-20mins. I did a test by applying some Benton Let’s Carrot Multi Oil on my face before overlay the sheet mask for a deeper hydration. My so called “beauty oil” creates a protective barrier, separating the alcohol from further penetrating to my face from the sheet mask. Hence, I don’t experience any irritation or redness on my face which normally I do if in contact with heavy alcohol ingredients used on its own.
After peeling it off, I smoothed most of the excess of the essence onto my face from the sheet mask pack to let it fully absorbed and followed by my favorite Benton Aloe & Propolis Soothing Gel. The last routine is to massage my face with my Amethyst Facial Roller, my most loved tool to ease all the facial tensions and eventually drove away my tiredness. I truly felt so good after this final step. However, I won’t be purchasing it coz of the strong alcohol and fragrance dispersed by the sheet mask. If you are not sensitive to scent and alcohol you may give this snail filtration mask a try 🤠🤠
