6 large eggs
1 cup sugar
2 cups whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 to 1 1/2 cup bourbon, rum, cognac, or a mix, optional
Freshly grated nutmeg, to serve

Ingredients:
4 cups milk
2 cups half-and-half cream
2/3 cup coconut sugar
8 large egg yolks, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions:
😋 In a large saucepan, whisk milk, cream, sugar and egg yolks until smooth. Stir over medium-high heat until mixture is just simmering and slightly thickened (do not boil) Remove from heat and whisk in nutmeg and vanilla. Chill eggnog before serving.
Notes:
😋 Store eggnog in refrigerator up to 5 days.
